My position in VOD came about by owning VZ. In may I sold half my VZ shares to buy VOD. That turned into a profitable position or trade. Last week I sold the remaining shares in VZ to buy T. So far that position is ahead, opposed to owning solely VZ. My thinking was that I'll get those VZ shares back in the distribution. Three men in a tub and one will be the clear winner. I think it will be T. They will pick up what is left of VOD very cheaply. It's going to take time though. And if VZW doesn,'t perform going forward T will have some strategic advantages, also, Europe may recover !
