You can't just say it was because Bush failed to veto spending. Wasn't it Bush's idea to do that Gigantic drug entitlement thing? To me, in THAT case, true capitalism would have been to go to the drug companies and TELL them the U.S. government was their BEST customer and they needed to give us the SAME prices or better than what they were giving Canada. I thought it was total BS that the pharmaceutical companies were given a free pass by these Republicans that said they were such GREAT capitalists. I also didn't like it that Bush put TWO Wars on the U.S. credit card. Obama is incompetent but Bush was a MORON.....
