Republicans didn't start impeachment proceedings when he bombed LIbya without Congressional approval. So why would Syria be any different?

I don't expect an answer, because when you cannot answer due to cognitive dissonance, you simply ignore the question.

So, it appears your biggest concern is how this will effect Obama. Hence the reason liberals screamed bloody murder, marched on the streets and chanted Bush is Hitler even after he received congressional approval to take military action in Afghanistan and Iraq. Contrasted with the liberal no complaint when Obama bombed Libya for months without congressional approval for military action.

Nothing surprising here. Just more support liberalism at all costs hypocrisy.

koan,

I think he's handled the whole thing HORRIBLY. When you're the President and you say "THIS is a red line!", you can't wait until that red line is actually crossed and then DISCUSS it...

He should have never made the red line statement in the FIRST place, but after he did he was STUCK..

As SOON as he had confirmation (and he says he HAS confirmation) that this was done by the Regime then he should have IMMEDIATELY hit their airfields and command and control centers.

Now he's allowed Assad to move his planes and his top military personnel and given the Russians time to throw their threats around and he's made the whole thing MORE dangerous....

If he had hit right away there would have been complaints and objections but it would have been over with and done. It all would have settled down in a couple days.
