The USA and greater China markets combined currently represent a relatively small proportion (10%?) of overall NOK smartphone volumes and hence the upside potential far outweighs any downside.

NOK seems to be now making inroads into the USA marketplace so I'm guessing NOK will experience some serious growth in KWP numbers by the time KWP numbers are published for September vs. the currently available July numbers.

Greater China does present a very real conundrum for NOK for any number of reasons, but, perhaps, as has been the case in other markets, NOK 520/521 may be able to reverse fortunes in this market as well. I won't be surprised by some significant volume gains in Greater China as well come September KWP numbers.

Meanwhile, July/13 W8 progress has been impressive and certainly well outside the negative parameters implied by the recent Bernstein, Deutsche and Swedbank hatchet jobs!
