Kash,

The hot topic for 1998 will be focused on the sub-$500 PC and $199 XC. Any companies involves these will be more than great for the next two years.

I like NSM, MSFT, ACER, TSMC, UMC, and the Taiwanese motherbord manufacturers with China factories. If the information devices will be expanded 10X in the next five years, there will be 10X demands on the high-integrate MPUs and the motherboards.

Biggest loser for the sub-$500 PC and $199 XC will be INTC as Intel would have to be satisfied with $20- gross profit per CPU than its current $150+ profit.
