the democrat party is founded on the myth of good intentions. That is what they try to project. where it goes wrong is that they don't really have good intentions, they just want to look like they do. And this is further exacerbated when the few who do have good intentions forget that most of the worlds ills are rooted in the well intentioned meddling of others. There is a reason for the saying "the road to hell is paved with good intentions".

That is true of a lot of libs I know. They buy it, or pretend to every time.
