Things when understood finally are always simple but substituting gods in science as an explanation is creationism & hasn't been working very well lately. Simply stated his position is God hurried things along, where is one detailed example of this? Why not pose the same thesis to the all the extinction events & great glaciation cycles too? Why do we not we see Meyer's applying his silly make believe logic to the Permian-Triassic extinction event 250mil yrs later? There were tons of rapid changes that came out from that and much closer timeline? Somehow we think this book will not get written, surprise surprise, God killed the dinosaurs & made the furry little mammals kings but Meyer doesn't want to get involved? Man evolved from primate ancestors in far less time than this so called Cambrian 'explosion' took , look how few headlines you see anyone debating this issue only a month later. The beauty is Meyer may have open the doors to discusssion which already finds his silly theories gasping for air.
