Just wringing out the profit takers now to put in place a strong base in the $5 to $6 range before attacking $8.

Pretty standard stuff; profit taking after the short covering. Computer trading too, nothing much to do to get around that irrational volatility that is part of the short-term game today.

New valuation, and levels of resistance TBD in coming days and weeks, not minutes.

There will be screaming bulls and bears, some playing both sides to claim success.

I don't blame anyone for taking profits after the long windy road. There will be more objective buyers than emotional profit takers when the smoke clears, IMO.

This came as a shock to Wall Street, right on top of the VZ - VOD megadeal.
