They got $7.2 billion but Nokia is only up @$5/sh $3.2 billion in market cap. That means that the $4 billion lost must mean that the street had valued the D&S at $4 billion in the price of Nokia on Friday, and since it is sold, D&S = ZERO, that's where the other $4 billion is. Let's hope the street gets serious and realizes that the rest of Nokia is now worth more without a cash burning loser like D&S around.

Do we know how much debt and cash MSFT will take from Nokia with the D&S acquisition?

Microsoft says D&S will lose money for them in 2014 ($1005 mil GAAP), in 2015 ($541mil GAAP) and turn a profit of $299 mil in 2016.... good luck to MSFT holders.....

ALU is up 13%... could it be that the market thinks NSN will buy ALU??? They now have the cash to do it BTW. However that would be horrible for Nokia shareholders. ALU is worse junk than D&S.

My chart... pulled back to touch the break away mid line. Near term target around $6. Bearish if we break below the mid line, but I don't think we will.
