Good stuff , love the CIFAR peeps made the play on "See Far" which remined me of the name one production group i ran into in the 1990s who had chosen the title: "Persistance of Vision" which sure is one powerful phrase wished i had copyrighted (very catchy).

Here's something Doug Erwin of the Smithsonian with a fellow from MIT is up to , now they're really putting
the high resolution to cataloguing the geology timelines now, brummy's info age is coming faster than he knows.

EARTHTIME Initiative

High-resolution geochronology now provides the opportunity for paleontologists and geologists to study evolutionary and geological rates in deep time to a much higher degree of precision than was previously possible. Sam Bowring at MIT and I have initiated a community-wide effort to develop a high-resolution geological time scale over the coming decade.
