Unless we kill Assad, like we did to Saddam Hussain the night of shock and awe, or Raygun? did with Kaddafi, this war will continue and collaterals will be lethally damaged.

If we do kill him, that will solve everything. Look how well US sanctioned regime change has worked out in Iraq, Afghanistan, Egypt, and Libya.
