Totally gets rid of pretty much all advertising -- google, facebook, websites, everything. If this free software takes off, it could be a problem for FB and others. They say they have 20 million installs. Provides a pretty decent performance boost, too, since you're not having to wait on ads to download. I read Google is already paying them off to keep their ads running.
