"Greg's tact is to basically say my stupidity is as good as anyone else's intelligence"

True. He simply does not recognize or respect reality. He thinks by ignoring it, he makes it go away!

Every library on the planet has the books to show how ridiculous his primitive "scriptures" are. So if he and Brum can ignore real Science and real knowledge of our world and still claim to embrace absurd and impossible fables such as the flood and the tower of bimbos and a 6000 year old earth...then we are not surprised at how easily the Priests were able to hoodwink the sheep in barbarian tribal times--needing to resort to force only when necessary or fun!

It is 2013! All the information is out there! Yet these cave-men ragamuffins slough it off as easily as Samson killed 1000 men with a jaw bone or as unobtrusively as he ran down 1000 foxes and tied their tails together! Chuckle! What a hoot those two muttonheads are!

"I like to think he is outnumbered in our society 2 to 1"

I would think about 6 to 1. Remember that most Canadians really have no faith--or even any acquaintance with the faith they identify with. They answer "Christian" the way they answer "Caucasian". 25% of Albertans for instance are "non-religious". And who attends church?

"Figures from Statistics Canada show that in 2010, about three in 10 Canadians went to a service at least monthly. A similar number attend less frequently." Four in 10 never go. Forty percent NEVER attend. And 30% stop in once a month!

Clearly, people like Greg or ee and the Brumster are anomalies. Their faith is more a mental health issue (as is a great deal of so-called Faith). The church gives troubled people belonging, human interaction, and meaning.

And do those who attend church every month or two really have "Faith"? Do they really believe absurd, nonsensical, and irrational stories? I don't think so. Most of them simply avoid the question because ignorance creates a defensive shield which most people prefer over knowledge. Most people are dishonest to their inner self as a defensive shield and bulwark against reality.

Take the Brumster. He pretends to accept Science to a degree and pastes statements from Scientists who clearly accept the fact that the earth is not 6000 years old! But Brum (being dishonest) thinks he can believe in Jesus and the bible and still honor some sort of Evolution! He doesn't understand that if he believes in the myth of Jesus then he MUST take the whole kit and caboodle of nonsense such as the first rainbow, the tower of babel, the flood, the 6000 year old earth...and all the other silly, unhistorical, and completely false stories!!

He thinks and believes the way young children think and believe. And the same goes for Greg or ee. Verily...Brum's retorts are often so immature as to be indistinguishable from the lingo of children.
