And let me add........most of the Asians...well more than half.......are recent immigrants and do many of the menial jobs.......cutting lawns, driving cab, housekeeping:


But most seem to move up the ladder quickly within one generation and aren't stuck in a cycle of dependence and poverty

And why is that?

There is a reason for that. Asians come from a 3,000 year old culture which is very philosophical and highly values education and is not burdened by simplistic religious dogma.

The Asian culture is set up perfect to benefit from education.

Confucius, Tao and Buddhism are very sophisticate philosophies.
