I can't remember the name of the place, but a friend told me about a place in AZ where people go in the winter and camp for free. Said water and septic pumper trucks come through on a regular basis and it's inexpensive to pump your rig. I'd have to see these free places in order to decide if I wanted to stay...........I imagine there are all sorts hanging out that might make one pause.

Not the Mojave, but this book looks interesting.

Probably around that lone telephone which operated several years ago. I called it once and some guy answered! It has since been shut off.
