FWIW - I went by the U-Check store last night on my way back from a Christmas party at my aunt's house. Everytime I'm out there I peek in to see how things are moving along. The last time I checked the shell and exterior were finished and a couple of guys were painting the inside of the shell (i.e. insulated yet unfinshed walls, much like some warehouse stores are finished). The inside was empty with the exception of a few framed walls, that was 3 or 4 months ago. Last night it appeared that not a whole lot more had been completed except for the fact that those framed walls were now wired and it appeared as if some heat ducts were in place. Progress is happening, it's just at a snail's pace. I guess we can assume that the money is not there and they're doing what they can to actually finish this project. Did someone say that someone else actually owns the store? I can't remember. Once finished the store will be nicely done and it would be interesting to see just how well that technology works.
