The left's constant attempt to suggest that paying employees more money is generates more sales is pretty much like Pelosi claiming unemployment insurance payments are the best economic stimulus.

Bentway, the problem with bringing up examples of Ford and more recently Costco is that these companies themselves decided to hike up pay and benefits. The government didn't force that upon them. Some companies don't mind the added turnover and lower job satisfaction of paying their workers minimum wage. Many of their employees are content to simply have a job. Allow more businesses to open up, and more job choices will become available to them. Wages will naturally go up. Tenchusatsu
