Mac, I doubt it, though Dan's interests do seem to have taken a turn. Last year Dan started the year with a thread Future Growth Stocks of 1997. I contributed a couple of ideas based on certain filter criteria set by Dan. Dan settled on 6 stocks but soon became bored with it and stopped giving regular updates. A couple of people dropped in occasionally to hype picks way outside the criteria. I heard about FCSE Focus Enhancements that way, pooh-poohed it at first but later became convinced, unfortunately too late as FCSE has been a 3 or 4 bagger this year. It was interesting to go back and look at the 'picks'. Most were down quite a bit (that's tech stocks for you)...one was already renamed, and a couple were up. I think more really long term portfolios should be tracked here on SI. Intervals of 5, 10, 15 years...now that SI is 'the establishment' you know it will still be here!
