So you are rewriting not only the ten commandments but Sabbath observances. Are you going to declare yourself a vegetarian and tell us chicken is a vegetable. Anything else in the bible you are uncomfortable with and want to change.

I can writ the bible up anyways I wants. I's chosen you know.

What a bunch of Hermeneutic CRAP!!

Please tell us what the "revised by greg or ee" NEW TEN COMMANDMENTS ARE!!! ;-)

Please write out the new ten commandments and tell us where you found them? Which ones can we ignore as worthless (and definitely NOT commanded)...and which ones no longer carry any penalty?? And tell us whether or nor the "Greg or ee revisions" are self serving or not??

And after you have separated the Commandments into Commandments, suggestions, and IGNORE!...please tell us on whose Authority you get to IGNORE COMMANDMENTS just because ignoring serves your interest??

And by the way, your dispute over which day the Sabbath refers to is irrelevant to this issue. If you think some of the ten commandments are no longer commandments, and if you think breaking the commandments carries (and ought to carry) no earthly penalty--or that that penalty owes no concession to the bible--just say so. Or if you think the Old Testament is now just there for self serving cherry picking--just say so. Jesus said the Old Testament Law was Perfect and was in force forever. Apparently, modern Christians from your sect simply pick and choose which of God's words are relevant. Good luck with that!!

The Ten Commandments have always been considered the essential communication of God to man as to how we are to live. God did not make either the Commandments or the punishments conditional on anything. His word was the law. Apparently, you do not like the LAW, so you (and members of your particular sect) change it to suit your greater wisdom! Funny, though, how you fight continuously to publicly display a set of moral laws you no longer believe are binding! I guess your strident words will no longer be taken seriously by anyone on SI or anywhere else. Your "moral" underpinnings have been exposed as movable footings that have absolutely no immutability. You have basically taken what you pretend to believe are Yahweh's words, and you have pissed on them. Good luck with that!
