The western nations must do all of this war stuff together. There are going to be a hundred events like the gas attack in the ME over the next decade and the US cannot do it all alone. They don't even like us over there. If NATO and the other western nations are not willing to help, we do nothing until they do!! I get you, koan. I wish the world community leaders would come up with something---I'm not an expert but my guess is that if they were all on the same page re: working in tandem to stop this kind of behavior, we probably wouldn't need a war in the first place. They signed a treaty against it but are now unwilling to enforce it. This confuses me. In 03 our Congress signed this Syria accountability and Lebanese sovreignty act. gpo.gov I really don't know.
