about the super powerful space aliens .....and belief in super aliens is as equal & proportionate to erecting mythologies in the minds of the ancient common folk of creator gods by the priests, whether one or many,especially if ordered by the pharoahs, emperors or kings. It was quite a literal view even down to Mohammed's time 7th century, that these fellows were ascending & flying around up in the clouds, Mohammed had his winged steed & we suppose Jesus was attended by some of those angels the 2nd Temple Jews borrowed from the Persians after Babylon captivity. (temple was built 500bc, power was put into the hands of the priests & Jerusalem made the only place sacrifices could be made that would be pure, very economical & psychological strategy, it centered the seat of powers)

Angels (as well as aliens)made a big come back in popular culture only just recently back in the 70's-1980's , songs, several TV series & of course for you Ronnie Raygun was one supreme angelic being, one supposes in times of human recessions the psychological needs of wanting & natural hope, manifests itself. The phenomenon of suspension of reality ensues, people go for the Santa Claus effect usually every time, etc etc. This happens frequently all the time in the Theatre, in well acted plays today as it was in the cathedrals & Temples of old ,there is a suspension of belief, a few well chosen liturgies, incense, sprinkling of water & magic cookies that represents eating of mystical bodies, & hail, holy, ho...and away they go. Then tell them they are God's chosen , following the one true scripture. Well just look about you in the ME or here in the provincial US, people waving books around as if they represent some great reality, when they are just poorly written, often contradicting examples, excitations of the human mind. (not even great literature)

Chemicals react, they don't evolve....but they do self organize into more complex molecules all the time under right conditions, we have basic experiments demonstrating this in the labs since the 1950s. One wouldn't expect the same type of chemical systems emerging now that happened in the churning amino acid rich prebiotic oceans, for now the microbial world & biotic spheres that taken over most of the world niche. New theories are congealing all the time that have emerged in the last 70-100yrs, the chemical reactions around volcanic vents are being much studied now. "A new theory proposes the primordial life-forms that gave rise to all life on Earth left deep-sea vents because of their "invention" of a tiny pump.
