I was outraged when I read that article. I knew of a prosecution years ago where a guy driving thru in a pickup truck was pulled over an officer spotted a single old corroded .22LR round in the rear bed of the truck. He got something like 3 years for it.

The courts also typically ignore the Gun Owner's Protection Act, what an ironic name for a law that persecutes gun owners. If you are travelling through enemy territory like DC, NJ, CT, NY, CA on the way to a legitimate sporting activity, you are supposed to be covered by the GOPA of 1986. Surprise surprise, you are not because the courts just ignore it and nobody impeaches the judges for ignoring it. The country is filled with dictators and the bottom 50% of people need a dictator because they can't even figure out how to graduate from idiot high schools where you don't have to do anything except show up and pledge support to Leftism.
