For those as nuts as I am you may want to subscribe to an excellent monthly PV News put out by Paul D. Maycock pvenergy@crosslink.net The newsletter costs 100 per year. The current edition cites an initial estimate that 1997 global shipments for all producers and all technologies was up over 42% from last year! Maycock cites the annual shipments in MegaWatts as follows: 1991 55.4 1992 57.9 1993 60.1 1994 69.4 1995 77.6 1996 88.6 1997 125.8 Still a drop in the bucket of power consumption but interesting growth and interesting economics.
