Isn't it amazing how conservative find themselves unable to believe even the words coming out of their own pols mouths, when it conflicts with their world view?

That's why the internal squabbling in the GOP has become so intense. And I suspect its like an iceberg..........the little we are hearing doesn't begin to describe how bad it really is.

* In April, Peggy Noonan endorsed a U.S. attack on Syria and was outraged that President Obama hadn't intervened. Now that the president wants to launch strikes, Noonan no longer realizes Syria is in the midst of a civil war and now opposes a military strike. How very typical.
