Happened across this site... mostly for bicycle riders I suppose because most of the trails are paved. From the Rails to Trails Conservancy.

If you're camping there you can drive in, but aren't they busing tourists in to the Grand Canyon? I could see that happening at many other national parks. We took off last Sept for a 3 week excursion to the SW because we thought we school starting the crowds would be small to non-existent. We were amazed at how many other baby boomers had the same idea.

Hubby is predominantly Scottish and I'm predominantly Norwegian. If we go to no other places in Europe, we'll do our best to go to those two places.
