Come on, bentway. You cannot combat wingnut mythology with facts...

Think of this one as a variant of the Single Drop of Blood theory. In this case, if a single loan that the CRA applied to went bad, then it bears responsibility. The fact that lenders and financial institutions engaged in fraud on an unprecedented scale is inconsequential.

It is all the fault of the poor and minorities. Damn those dark-skinned people! And it isn't racism to point that out...
