MSFT would love for Nokia to grow the business at all costs, but Microsoft's loan doesn't change the incentives. Nokia still has to pay it back. So Nokia should be running the business with preservation of capital as the primary objective.

With 4% market share, it is anything BUT hitting the ground running. The fact is that the Zune UI has FAILED with consumers. Failed on Zune. Failed on Windows 8 and failed on Windows Phone. Microsoft couldn't design its way out of a paper bag.
