That's not late; that's right on schedule. By international law, we can't do anything until Syrian gas crosses national boundaries, or until they are "within a 45 minute drone flight" of the mainland. As the situation now stands, they aren't an imminent threat to us. They didn't sign, which means they can use it at home without violating anything but the civilized norms, which lets us kill with bombs, but not gas.

Maybe they can attack our embassy in Jordan? I can't tell if we still have one in Syria, but that will work, too.
