I find it ironic that only a few yrs back, leading Dems embraced the Assad's to sabotage Bush's policy of isolating Syria over its interventions in Lebanon, it's attempts to destabilize Iraq, and it's weapons programs. Hillary, Kerry, Pelosi, they declared Bashir Assad a reformer. Liberal Vogue did a puff piece on Assad and his glamorous wife. Now the same folks who dined with the Assad's a few years ago are telling us Assad has became Hitler.
