I absolutely love how you call conservatives 'wingers'. It seems like a little thing, but it illustrates the way you leftists view the world. To you, there is no such animal as a 'left winger', since left wingers are considered mainstream. So the label 'winger' is appropriate for anyone to the right of you who doesn't share your (perverted, if I might say) view of the world. Winger typically refers to right winger. The term is not usually applied to the left. Leftists' view of the world occurs through completely distorted vision, in which everyone other than their fellow leftists is viewed as a radical. Sorry but that's wrong Simplicity. Its you all who see the world in a very distorted and confused way. A very typical example was the way Fox News handled the defeat of Romney. Up until shortly before his concession speech, Fox was reporting that he was the likely winner in OH and the race. That is why the right is experiencing so many fails. It has nothing to do with all the conspiracy theories you all concoct. Instead, its because wingers don't deal in facts; in truths. You create the model you want and then generate some ' faux facts' to make it seem plausible. This crafting of your POV has been going on for decades......since the time of the Master Oz of them all........Mr. Reagan. You got away with it because the left and the mainstream were fairly oblivious to the ruse. It would have continued had you all not put into power Mr. Bush. He was your undoing although wingers will never admit it. He and his administration were so inept and offensive it spawned a national truth squad. Every winger lie was debunked and shown to be what it was......double speak. At that point, you should have admitted to the ruse, and tried to correct your rather aberrant behavior. Instead, you doubled down. Like most people who have a major fail, wingers are trying to blame the rest of us for your problems. This thread has become a sewer for winger craziness. There is so many of you that its the most popular thread on SI. I hope to God it doesn't reflect a majority of the country............but even if not a majority, the disease of wingerism does continue to infect way too many people. I admit to being a 'right winger' (and am proud of it). It's called honesty. You might want to try it sometime. Yeah, what you call honesty I call BS. You should be embarrassed but like most wingers these days you are so detached from reality you think excrement is chocolate ice cream and urine is lemon ade. Its very sad and pathetic.
