Stephen: Greetings OTOTOTOT I would suggest that you get in touch with the medical library in your hospital and ask them to do literature search for Apolipoprotein A-1 Milano. The library will be able to get you a free copy of the article. This mutation confers CVS protection and a higher HDL cholesterol level in the blood. You also might want to talk to an academic familiar with cholesterol metabolism and this paticular protein. My post to you is in agreement with your statement that genes make a lot of difference. Paul
