The point is that we can say "God says" when it is "Scripture says" because it is God who is saying, not because "Scripture says" is God. "God most certainly is the highest good." If there were a god, it would be that. I have never committed genocide. I have never murdered. I have never commanded rape. I have never called somebody who was known to have committed incest with both his daughters (and impregnated both of them)...."JUST" and "GOOD" and "RIGHTEOUS". I have not been an insane father who separated his sons and daughters into tribes, and then chose one of the really bad tribes to support--while murdering all his other kids--like a stupid sow who rolls on some, eats some, and then goes to the trough. If "God" is the highest good...then why do you put some figure (imagined by tribal barbarians)--over Einstein, Ingersoll, Baha’u’llah, or me?? Indeed...how do you place your "god" ahead of Hitler?? In every measure of goodness and benevolence--Hitler beats Yahweh hands down.
