I was on these threads before it was passed as well and was indignant about it. I've been discussing it every since. Most on this thread told me I was engaging in conspiracy theory talk, instead of acknowledging that the Patriot Act and FISA laws that were getting passed were against our Constitution.

So looks like you and I were two of the few who argued against it before it passed. Snowden has now made government abuses a mainstream dialogue.
