At no point did I make it a requirement for simplicity. Simple functions or complex functions are

both functions. But once you have a function, it remains a function, and does the same thing forever.

That is why you know you can get your fries when you want them. They are not fries one day and McD employee boogers the next. Hopefully. Maybe a small combination of both, but who is picky?
