a responsible public company is not going to sue anyone a day after a hatchet job imo. they'd need to go over it in detail with their lawyers, and have the board convene to discuss an appropriate response if they decide to respond at all.

keep on trying tho lol sounds like you should short some.

as for your other point, check SW news April 23, 2009, and when a contract expires and the company has no money to pay contractors, terminating the contract several months after expiry is a little late.
