Why is it hateful to tell the truth to someone when they're making excuses on the public record for their out of control gambling problem?

It is just life.

In 1980 my mom had a nervous breakdown so I had to take care of her the rest of her life. That was expensive as we took no welfare. In 1987 I was paying child support for two girls and we had a huge real estate depression in my town. I had some rental property and no one to rent it to. Plus I was going through a contentious divorce. And I was only working for the state so was a salaried employee not making that much.

To be honest I was very very lucky to avoid bankruptcy. I am amazed I pulled it off. Sentient beings in outer space protecting me-lol. Good karma? I am very kind to animals.

You can go back and check 1987 and Pegasus wts. I made about $200k and it saved me. I am a risk taker and did not have a lot of money, so I was forced to use highly speculative things like mining stock wts to try and make enough to retire. I made a lot of money over the years, just not enough to retire.

I think it is normal for people to get in and out of trouble. Especially we middle class people who have little reserves.

But I was always swinging for the fence so I could retire. I just never made it. But I did live a pretty good and easy life all in all.

I have no regrets and feel myself a lucky person. At least I had the sense to live my life as a liberal-lol.
