I can't decide if if it represents a bigger cannibalization threat to the 5S than the 5 would have at the same price point.

Not having held a 5C in my hand, but from looking at the pictures, my opinion is that the current iPhone 5 is a more appealing device and would have cannibalized high end 5S sales more than the 5C will. Consequently, I expect the 5C to drive the product mix in favor of the 5S (pushing ASP higher).
