Not a commodity like DRAM's, but moving in that direction. As an AMD investor, I'd be very happy if AMD sold 20M CPU's at even $30 profit each while Intel took the rest of the market at $50 profit each. AMD's earnings would be $2.80 a share after tax and support about a $50 share price. See what you come up with for Intel's CPU earnings and total earnings.
