That was in the bad old 50's. No way you'd put your kids or grandkids in the same schools now.

Koan, I don't blame schools, I measure performance - there is a big difference between the two. Apparently, you have low standards and are willing to accept failure from educators year-after-year. How that squares with you previous statements in support of good education is one of those liberal cognitive dissonance pretzel logic mental models only a liberal can truly understand. But I think it goes something like this "liberal Democrats support public education and do not support vouchers, so I must support the same thing even though kids are being provided a horrible education and their lives are being ruined".

Only 59 percent of high school students who started as freshmen in the 2006-2007 school year graduated four years later from District of Columbia schools.

If you taught in inner city schools, it could mean you're so committed to the union, you care more about the union than you care about the children.

Good luck with that. Eventually liberals will have to come to terms with their support for failed schools and their desire to spread ignorance in education, especially toward African Americans.

They only thing you got busy on, was supporting liberals spreading ignorance via a system that places boundaries between parents who care about their children's education, and improving their opportunity for a decent education.
