you can't change something so big and amorphous as the U.S. Government from the outside. That's not an original thought. It's exactly what the progressives realized and did when they took over the democrat party.

If I am to have any influence, however small, on the direction this country is heading, it isn't going to be from inside the libertarian party. So yes, joining the republican party is one step.

It's certainly more productive than your approach. Which appears to be either:
1. Bitching about it
2. Discarding the rule of law.
