Venkie, Oracle has problems that are not related to the PC industry. I doubt that they are going to drive the NASDAQ down with their poor management. Ellison has not been paying attention to his business. He has been out sniiffing around Apple, chasing NC's and trying to kill MSFT with his slingshot. Also, he has been jousting recently with Informix and Sybase. I suspect that this poor performance indicates that sales on UNIX servers are off for this quarter. I do not think that he has an NT version of his database.( I could be wrong?!) So I am not expecting a lot of reaction to of their report. It may all be over with in 20 minutes tomorrow.
