Koan, I've accomplished enough to know that high drop out rates and high illiteracy rates are the result of a poor education model that needs systemic re-engineering change. It doesn't take a genius to know if you're banging your head against the wall and have a headache, it's a good first step to stop banging your head to lesson the pain.

The problem with far too many liberals is they can't think for themselves. So they hide their ignorance behind a facade of "the scientists told me", "the professor said it" and "Al Gore is the smartest person in the world" nonsense. It's ok to think for yourself, to education yourself and come up with your own analysis. In fact, I would argue it's the responsibility of every voting American to do so. Unfortunately, far too many liberals let others do their thinking for them. Others, who's vested interest is in maintaining the status quo of failure.
