Well, NOK breaks $6.00 in pre-market and, as such, has now punctured the lower boundary of its post MSFT deal valuation range.

The ascent from $5 to $6 has been accelerated and may result in some profit taking around $6:00 as short term traders who are up 10% to 20% since the MSFT deal was announced cash out, while institutions keep piling on in hopes of those special dividends talked about by RBC and comforted by the knowledge that the upper valuation boundary lies around $9.00.

The upshot: The prospect of a further short term appreciation of 25% to 35% is not entirely unlikely!
