I had to cringe when I saw the prices of Apple's new phones. They are becoming a niche player again, a repeat of their PC blunder days when they almost priced themselves out of the market. The stock is getting riskier now with everything hanging on the success of one mass consumer product. My Nexus 4 confirms one thing though: Android (system and apps) is a great thing but it requires twice the processing and battery power of Apple iOS.
