My problem with Amazon is that I was a full-time
employee, who was let go a couple years ago
for nonsense reasons.

The Amazon in Delaware is very cliquish, like High
School. If the 'in crowd'/locals didn't like you, or
think you might be promoted before one of them,
they would constantly trash you to management.
(I'm a very conscientious worker with lots of Education
and Military service)
Several of my annual reviews contained outright lies,
which I was able to disprove, but not until it was too
late for me. The 'in crowd' gets away with murder.
For example, they would tell the Area Mgr. that I
was on my cell phone and not working, when in fact
I didn't even own a cell phone at the time. But the
manager believed the 'in crowd' and it showed up
on my annual review. Same with internet surfing,
while the 'in crowd' was doing their online Xmas
shopping on company time. To get this removed
from my annual review was like peeing into the wind.

I saw a segment on '60 Minutes' several years ago
about the CamperForce, and Amazon pays them
more than the full-timers in Delaware. IIRC, it was
about $2/hr. more. My pay was $14.50/hr. at the
time.

Maybe once I retire, the Amazon 'run-around' won't
bother me anymore. Atm, I feel a bit ripped-off.
Oh well. Not that good of a job, anyway, but I was
happy to have any job during 2008-2009.

If you work for Amazon in Phoenix, I might
know one or two of the managers. Toby Turner
was full of himself, and docked me on my annual
review for low productivity in 2010.(?) It took me 6
months to collect enough data to prove him wrong.

The other one is Susan L. She's a wacked out
militant lesbian. She just gave me a lot of grief,
constantly. I think she coveted my beard, and one
other body part. No kidding!!!
