There are many faces of racism and in general the faces of racism are changing. The type you white leftists exhibit on this thread is called Hidden Racism. Hidden Racism is characterized by covertly suppressing individuals by promoting racially biased directives which are disguised or rationalized with an explanation that society is more willing to accept. These racial biases cause a variety of problems that work to empower the suppressors while diminishing the rights and powers of the oppressed. Covert racism often works subliminally, and often much of the discrimination is being done subconsciously. Even the suggestion that black people should belong in the Democratic Party, that Black Conservative Republicans are Uncle Toms or traitors, is a tremendous abuse which some people have had to endure. It is an attempt to perpetuate stereotypes and punish those who don't conform to negative stereotypes.
