A majority may have the power, but that doesn't mean they are right, that there opinion is better, just that they have more power.

In any case its not the majority that's against greater school choice and allowing the parents more power in education decisions, its the special interest minority, the teacher's unions.

When we have four of the most intelligent and honest Democratic members of the senate banking committee: Warren, Wyden, Sherrod Brown and Tester openly opposing Summers (as well as 20 other senators), an objective person has to question why Obama is intent on making that nomination and if it is the best thing to do/

Just like those senators, a fair minded person does not just rubber stamp those sorts of decisions.

And it is wrong for other dems to accuse those who would question such a policy as being unfair.

What dems do not respect those four senators?

If you are in the minority you have to go along with the majority
Why does everyone need to go along with the majority? Do people have no choices in their lives? What are the limits to mob rule? Majorities used to favor slavery, was it right then? A clear majority opposes Obamacare, why are we implementing it?
If the individual has no liberty, it is not true democracy, it is totalinarianism.

So you're saying the folks who live where there are failing schools are to blame? Why do you hate poor people?

Louisiana adopted school choice at the voting booth. Why are liberals opposed to democracy in Louisiana?
