I believe people have to stand up for what is good and just . It is our duty.

When I was barely 30 and state Director of the office of Alcoholism and Drug abuse I had to take on the governor and a mobster type guy for ethical reasons. I used a statutory advisory council to win that fight and then I had to resign.

I decided at a young age to stand my ground and speak out when I saw injustice. I had a great mom who was 100 years ahead of her time. She would not tolerate any racism, or cruelty.

Interestingly, most of our family were hard core racist's and she would not indulge their racism. And she was one of 12 kids. She was of German heritage and one of her brothers was a Nazi sympathizer.

She was also the kindest women I ever knew. We were raised pretty much free range, but we also knew any kind of cruelty, especially to animals, was a cardinal sin in our household.

Look at history, for thousands of years anyone who spoke against the dogma of the day was dealt with harshly. Heresy in the Dark Ages was met with torture. No one in the south could speak openly against segregation except at the risk of their lives.

In the 60's when the kids were fighting for a new world of true freedom, the right for every person to manifest their destiny, the establishment made their lives hell.

Nixon and Reagan fought the counter culture kids openly and J Edgar Hoover kept files on them.

Soros, Buffet and Paulson? Morons compared to the high roller ninja-investor from Alaska. Who knows what strings this savvy investor can pull.
