I wondered about that but I don't think it's the same guy......both though, are equally nuts..... Tom A Watson is the one I think you're talking about and he used to rant about being an "engineer" and bragged about his son being an engineer. I think he lived in Conn or RI and was an avid sailor and photographer. His posts were largely incomprehensible (maybe some sort of dementia)... But I never saw evidence that he worked for IBM.....I believe it's only a coincidence that the founder of IBM is also Thomas A Watson... TAW recently posted somewhere on SI but I was suspicious because it was fairly literate...
