That would be one mother of an open pit to get at a seam or layler of mineralization dont you think.

Vaughn - ANOTHER IMP NOTE Re NDT

Along with the mail out version of the NDT Nov 3/97 news release there is a map of the location of the drill holes to that point in time for NDT, and NAI jv'd properties with Donner.

So the pots and pans hole 97-75 and the earlier hole with 1.93%Ni 1.64% Cu are shown, therefore we can pin-point exactly where the Friday 97-96 hole is located.

Also on the same map are 4 holes southwest on the NDT property along the eastern edge of the gravity high ( holes DDH97-63, -59,-73,-57) that are quite widely spaced and according to the news release "All 4 holes intersected significant sulphides with thicknesses up to 15 metres. These sulphides are enriched in base metals with values up to 0.59% Ni, 0.52%Cu and 0.10%Co".

The point here is that this whole eastern eadge of that gravity high which stretches for about 6 kms will now likely be the focus of an intense drilling program. No wonder Donner and NDT agreed to a budget of an additional number of holes.

The other point is that since this is an area of focus, there will likely be some sort of a winter program to continue the geological work and drilled if the water lines don't freeze up.

I think NDT is about to get vaulted into some higher status here.

I hadda print this one and read it a few times. Us pions gotta work a little harder to conceptualize this. We all appreciate your work on this. It helps us non-techos add some science to a game where we watch patterms a lot etc.

Does anyone have or has seen a drill grid showing all the holes? I still can't understand why DML wouldn't immediately follow up the intersection in 97-67 or 97-75 with some holes close by to determine structure/continuity. What's with these huge step outs and the seemingly random drill pattern?
